If Atraxa, grand unifier and Archon of cruelty both has an etb effect, there is no reason not to use ephemerate...maybe? I don't have old but good dual lands so i change to shocklands but the basic concept is ok i think..

Blue/Black Reanimator is defenitely a strong deck. However I don't think that the inclusion of Ephemerate is worth it. The EtBs generate an overwhelming advantage already, so that it would just be "win more". The only application I see for Ephemerate is the turn 1 Grief "scam" interaction. But is that really worth it weakening your mana base and cutting Ponder?
