Will deckstats implement the brackets like moxfield already does?

So for Bracket 3 I get up to 3 game changer cards. I choose Tegrid as the commander and 1 of the game changer. Would I then still be in Bracket 3?
ac
Now if I have a bracket 1 deck and just use specifically 1 game changer card that puts me into bracket 3??

So in essence it's a ban list for almost each individual bracket

Also occurred to me that you could have a 5 color commander with all basic lands and 1 game changer card while then it would be considered a bracket 3 commander.

I'm honestly amazed Edgar Markov isn't on the game changer list, given that he's an untouchable source of free resources.

So Trouble in Pairs is too much but Necropotence isn't?

I feel like green needed a few more game changers. The Great Henge or Kodama of the East Tree are crazy.

I know a lot of cards are getting swept under the rug of land denial/destruction, but this starting list is much smaller than I expected.

I get that they aren't going to call out certain cards the average player won't own, thus falling into Bracket 4 and 5, but the list clearly needs work and is just a starting point.
Mainly play Casual Multiplayer and EDH.

A reprint for Edgar Markov hardly matters, after what we saw with Mana Crypt reprint in Caves of Ixalan correct?

The Crypt Ban was The Rules Committee.  I think his argument is that WoTC is in charge now (though a lot of the rules committee was brought in by WoTC) and so Edgar may not be on the game changer list because of exactly what we feared when this stuff went down.  Financial decisions.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share, and rant, on the inherent stupidity of this system and the overall non-solution it provides to the format.
In just a few days we could set down people more talented than me in deckbuilding and they would come up with overpowered decks in each and every bracket.
This is directly correlated with the will to break boundaries that is part of (almost) every MtG player on earth.

I was particularly baffled about the separation between the 4th and the 5th bracket, which is justified by considering a very personal and unmeasurable/incomparable element as the MINDSET.

If mindset, personal perspective (i.e. rule_0) is the driving force behind brackets and classification, then I can say (and I truly believe) that the best solution would be to completely remove the Banlist and all limitations and voluntarily set the players FREE to enjoy sitting at any table they like, which whatever power level they want etc.etc.etc.

Will it turn out a miserable experience for someone? Yes, maybe, once in a while.
But if I'm bringing my hyperperforming deck to an event, and I find no-one to play with then I will be challenged to naturally align my plays with the playgroup that I'm in, or I will try to find a different playgroup that fits my taste in gaming.

The decision to consider SOL RING (THE BEST MANA RAMP, period) as an "Iconic" card is so inherently dumb and full of fallacies, why cannot "Cyclonic Rift" be considered an Iconic card of the format? Why not Mana Crypt? Why not Blood Artist?

Banlists and limitations in EDH are useless and inherently limited.

At least in my opinion.

Thanks for your patience!

Try a few hours.  Moxfield is already filled with people intentionally listing broken decks that fit into brackets 1 and 2 by the guidelines and absolutely horrible decks that are bracket 4 by the guidelines.

I went through the 7 decks I play the most. Going strictly by their criteria, three are bracket 3, the rest are bracket 1. There's no way Sidisi or Varina is a level 1, and Purphoros is only a level 3 because it has Jeska's Will. Purphoros is a weaker deck than either Sidisi or Varina. And my Endless Punishment upgrade is a level 3 because it has a 2-card combo (Exquisite Blood- Sanguine Bond).  ;)

There's still going to have to be some common sense about what the real power level of your deck is.

This.  Probably the perfect example of the flaws in the system.  Hopefully the majority of people have the same reasoning as your last sentence.

Will deckstats implement the brackets like moxfield already does?

This again.   Iā€™m half torn between acknowledging the brackets for conversations sake at the LGS, or just outright ignoring it and proceeding like I always do with common sense and communication.   I saw what moxfield implemented and liked that the data could calculate it for you, and even point out the combos/MLD cards that place you in a certain criteria.  the system needs work but the initial presentation is nice.   It would be real nice if deckstats could
Replicate a similar feature.  Pretty please?
