No whip?

No. I have found Whip to be incredibly poorly positioned. The most popular decks in the format - Abzan Aggro, RW Aggro and control variants - are all capable of punishing you heavily for spending your turn and 4 mana on something that doesn't impact the board in anyway. You have to interact in some meaningful way if you want to win the game. Whip is too slow to keep you alive against the aggro decks and too slow to apply sufficient pressure to the control decks. Trust me, this is coming from someone who spent the entirety of Khans standard casting Whips.

The roles of Satyr Wayfinder and Commune with the Gods are simply to fill the graveyard for delve and to put Soul of Theros into the graveyard. This deck is more akin to the 4-color Soul decks than it is to any Abzan midrange or Whip decks.
