Removal of Hermit Druid

Inferior to 5C druid and forces the deck to build around a fragile combo. Hermit Druid, while a good value play, hurts the Ooze combo.

Cutting the Fat

Defense of the Heart
Kind of slow, sometimes unreliable. Perhaps exchange for Soul Exchange. Will also remove Forbidden Orchard for Phyrexian Tower.

Want to make room for Phyrexian Metamorph and another looter. Perhaps cutting Temporal Mastery, skip on Soul Exchange, and playing Compulsion / Unfulfilled Desires.

Replacing the weaker draw spells with instant-speed spells that dig much deeper. We're also trying to find ways to make use of mana dorks, which this does perfectly.

Dredgers are just not good in this deck. Too many misses in a deck with only a handful of reanimation targets. Adding in more tutors and metamorph, which can lead to blowout plays.
