Nightveil Specter: You may play cards exiled this way, but you still have to pay them. Taking away toys is great, but being able to play them could be a problem. I would not pick that one for that reason.

All in all, it's a nice mono black deck. Looks good!

That's right, maybe Dismember is a good choice, but I'd use Nightveil Specter in another deck for the same reason as you say,

I have a similar deck w/ my Vampire Rogue deck.

The spells in it I use them to as I say "plow the road". 
Couple cards in it you may consider like Urge to Feed, Hex, Murder, Feast of Blood and Blade of the Bloodchief.
You may also want to consider Crypt Ghast for its ramp and extort

I really like your deck, but I think the title is wrong. It's from the deck Stasis, a great combo deck. But there is no other name which is possible for this deck. Good job.

What about:
- 1 Deathmark
- 2 Victim of Night
+3 Doom Blade

The Horrifying revelation is okay, but you might be better off using a Despise or Durress there.  It might only get rid of one card instead of two, but it gives you say over what they are discarding.  Hymn to Tourach also works very well in decks like this one.  I like your deck.  It's a good old-fashioned black vampire beatdown with the some fun twists.

Run a discard deck with Extirpate and Haunting Echoes to leave people feeling violated. And act like you are a Cop while search and frisk their deck. Turn One- Duress "Show me your hand" Turn Two- Extirpate "Let Me See your Library" Late game if you get the haunting echoes off more than once it will make their deck feel naked.
