To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Greetings gentlemen, I proudly present you a new craptain deck that can beat crap out of your opponents. Special thanks to Terran from MTGOTraders who pioneered this deck in his stream. But with coming of Rivals of Ixalan, the deck got some more toys to play with, more enchantments to flip for you, more tables to flip for your opponents!
Let's start with Honored crop captain, the card that makes this deck. Honored crap craptain makes your 1/1 dorks double in power, making it even more dangerous when paired with Ahn-Crop Crasher. Haste ability on Ahn-Crap crasher synergies very well also with other crap found in the deck. The newest addition to the deck is Relentless raptor which solidifies 2 drop slot and Bloodlust Inciter can incite him to attack as early as turn two, a feat only very few decks currently in the format are able to achieve. Legion's landing seems a bit off at first glance, but with the 1-mana haste creature package you are able to flip it already on turn two, now this is what I call ramp! With 4 mana on turn 3 you can already play Vance's blasting cannons. Craptain Vance is actually a craptain in exile, but even in his absence has given us these cannons which are not even hard to flip in this deck full of cheap crap and then we can really start shooting down opponent and his creatures. Last honorary craptain is Captain Lannery Storm, only 1 copy since she's quite crappy compared to the rest, but haste and pseudo ramp is not irrelevant. We end creatures with 6 1-mana haste creatures containing Bomat couriers and Fanatical Firebrand, foremer being very useful to replenish our hand after casting all our cheap spells and latter to Zap opponent's creatures. Another important novelty from the last set comes in the form of Path of Mettle, I know it is a bit a nonbo with our tokens, at least Bloodlust Inciter can give himself haste, but other than that most of the creatures have relevant abilities, so this one should be flipped fairly easily. Other than that, we have the whole burn package of Shock and Lightning strike, as removal or getting extra reach. Manabase consists of full playset of Inspiring vantage along with one Stone quarry (may even play more if need arises), even as strictly worse land, color fixing in this deck is crucial. With that we play the best deserts out there, Shefet dunes and Ramunap ruins, which can be used depending of the current boardstate. And Scavenging grounds for incidental graveyard hate, but not many copies to avoid issues with brown mana.
Sideboard packs even more removal, first we have Fragmentize aka the white fatal push to clear cheaper and effective artifacts or enchantments. Baffling end is another addition from the new set, mostly used for undercosted threats blocking our path to victory. When everything else fails, we have Ixalan's binding for expensive stuff. Gideon's Intervention is mainly for Approach, but can name sweepers or combo pieces, Rampaging Ferocidon for tokens and we end with Dire Fleet Daredevil. This crapcaster is not snapcaster, but can be useful to use opponent's tools against him, but in the worst case can still just exile aftermath cards that can cause problems.
This the whole deck, it may need tweaks here and there, depending on the meta. But definitely a deck that I would bring to my FNM!
