Scion of Trump 2020 (69% Casual EDH Deck) (EDH / Commander)

The year is 2020, Trump has prevailed against the combined forces of North Korea, Iran and Antifa and is now poised to win reelection with a stunning 99% approval rating. The demon possessed Democratic Party however, and their champion, the reanimated corpse of Crooked Hillary, are up to their usual tricks. When you play this deck, you are possessed by the vigor of the MAGA Emperor, call upon your draconic horde to destroy the libelous Democratic Party and their deep state allies.

Ramp and Colour Fixing

Reaching all five colours can be a bit of a challenge, considering I don't have all the Shock or Fetchlands (let alone Duel land...), so ramp cards are over represented here with a particular emphasis on cards that look for nonbasic forests (Wood Elves, Nature's Lore).

Combo One: Infect Kill

It is possible too single handily KO an opponent with your Scion of the Ur-Dragon that can attack and four mana. Stack Scion's activated ability twice, first transforming Scion into a Moltensteel Dragon, activating Moltensteel Dragons ability six times (At a cost of 12 life or possibly less if you have red mana available) and then allow Scion to become Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon. Skithiryx now has an attack of 10, allowing Scion to strike for lethal infect damage. It is best to do this during the Blocking Phase after blockers have been declared.

Combo Two: Infinite Combat Phases

The Aggravated Assault combo has seen broader use in EDH than the above combo, with several variations involving Neheb, the Eternal and now Grand Warlord Radha. The dragon version uses Savage Ventmaw, either the actual card or Scion, scoring you enough mana plus one to pay Aggravated Assault's cost. Generally speaking, you should never play Aggravated Assault unless you plan to win that turn, the 2R mana cost looks tempting to drop, but you will just attract hate and likley get the enchantment destroyed before you can pull off a win.

Combo Three: Worldgorger Dragon

This is a combo from my youth and involves targeting Worldgorger Dragon with Animate Dead, Dance of the Dead or Necromancy. Worldgorger's enter the battlefield (ETB) effect triggers, exiling all permanents you control, including the enchantment used to revive the dragon. This causes the dragon to die because he is no longer enchanted, causing all your permanents to return, including your Animate Dead, Dance of the Dead or Necromancy to return, allowing you to target Worldgorger again, creating an infinite loop.

Since your lands continually get blinked, they enter the battlefield untapped, allowing you too produce infinite mana. You also get infinite ETBs if that matters to you. You can break the combo by targeting another creature in any graveyard.

Alternate Win: Attacking

Dealing regular combat damage is also a means to achieve victory and despite listing three combos, is still the primary means to achieve victory with this deck.
