Stardate 2020.7, while exploring the very fringes of the Alpha Quadrant you are beckoned by a subspace message sent by the Children of Tama, a people's whose language cannot be understood through the universal translator. As you attempt to negotiate with their captain, he transports himself and you to the planet service, babbling on about the Beast at Tanagra.

Jhoira is the Beast at Tanagra, as soon as you choose to suspend a Darksteel Colossus or Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, your enemies will unite against you as Dormok and Jalad did those centuries ago. Your deck nevertheless possesses the tools to hold them back through a variety of means.

Removing Time Counters from your suspended cards allows you to cheat out suspended cards earlier, likely catching your enemies off-guard (Cards like Paradox Haze, Jhoira's Timebug, Clockspinning, Timecrafting and Rift Elemental)
Counterspells are key to ensure your Eldrazi don't get countered (you cast them from exile) or a target of a Swords to Plowshare
the deck also features a lot of mass removal, though in the early game, taking a few hits won't matter too much

More often than not though, your initial wave will falter, like Shaka, when the walls fell. Jhoria can still be useful if you haven't used her as a blocker, but afterwards the deck shifts from cheating cards into play to casting them. You'll generally be able to play a land each turn, combined with the mana rocks and ramp lands (Temple of the False God, Shrine of the Forsaken Gods, Eldrazi Temple, Teferi's Isle, Eye of Ugin) you can cast high CMC cards.

General Tips For Playing Jhoira, the Beast at Tanagra

When you suspend a card and the final time counter is removed from the spell, you are casting it. Effects that require cards to be cast, such as Emrakul, the Promised End, activate, and can therefore also be countered.
There are only 5 red spells in the 99, though since Jhoria needs red mana, Mountains are over represented.
Quicksilver Amulet draws a lot of hate, I don't think I've ever actually activated its effect, though it is still too good not to use. It puts the card into play, so although Eldrazi cast effects do not activate, they can't be countered either.
I removed land destruction cards like Obliterate as a long term test. You can get some easy wins with them, but in stalled games they can be a dead draw. I do think the deck is probably more powerful with them.
As Foretold uses time counters, so if you have a Timecrafting, Clockspinning or Fury Charm you can beef up your As Foretold with them

Upgrading the deck

A general problem with the deck is you often get a lot of ramp/counters/draw cards, but no beefy spells to suspend. I've got a Time Stretch in the mail, but I wouldn't mind picking up the Battle for Zendikar Eldrazi I missed.
I might have too many 1 CMC draw spells, they are obviously good early game, but a bit of a limp draw later.
Short term, wouldn't mind Propaganda, Twincast, Merchant Scroll, Nezahal, Primal Tide, Izzet Signet, Muddle the Mixture, Reverberate
Long term, wouldn't mind Rhystic Study, All is Dust, Expropriate
I might want to try introducing the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal Combo, but I would need need more tutors and mana rocks for it too work
