To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Hand tribal (hand in each card art). Tokens and value spells off rebound.
Really fun casual (non-extra turns) Taigam, Ojutai Master deck. Cast TOM, attack with protection like Shadow Rift, Whispersilk Cloak, Reconnaissance, etc., then cast instants and sorceries gaining rebound for insane value either digging deeper into the deck for more cards (Fact or Fiction, Glimmer of Genius, Foresee, Portent, etc.) or creating a ton of tokens (Allied Reinforcements, Righteous Confluence, Conqueror's Pledge, Increasing Devotion, etc.), maybe double with Anointed Procession, to later pump or swarm with (Aven Wind Guide, Cathars' Crusade, Collective Effort, etc.).
Includes a handful of modal spells to be flexible when casting from rebound.
Fun interactions that I've done include:
-Insane value when casting spells gaining rebound AND copying them with Swarm Intelligence. Getting the effect of each spell three times for the cost of casting it once? Sure! In fact, once Swarm Intelligence is out, I never even re-cast TOM if he's removed because I'm getting enough value by just copying spells.
-Kicking Conqueror's Pledge on the rebound casting or flashbacking Increasing Devotion after it has already been cast twice (originally and then on the rebound). This gets even more insane when either Swarm Intelligence or Cathars' Crusade are out - or both! I've cast a kicked Conqueror's Pledge with Swarm Intelligence and Cathars' Crusade out to create six 7/7s on the copy resolving and twelve 13/13s from the original kicked spell, which also puts counters on the tokens from the copy to then make them six 19/19s.
-Phyrexian Rebirth, then give the token Swiftfoot Boots to hit someone for a ton of damage, especially if you've already built up a token army.
-Casting Congregate when you have a token army, and then having it gain rebound! Even just a modest number of creatures on the field, like 10, which is pretty modest for EDH, will net you 40 life for 4 mana at instant speed (can cast right after TOM attacks).
-Casting 6 free spells over two turns by casting Sram's Expertise 6 times over those three turns in a single game. Cast Sram's Expertise after TOM attack (1), recast on rebound (2), bring it back to hand with Call To Mind (which also gains rebound after TOM attacks), cast SE again (3) which gains rebound, recast from rebound again (4) to let it go to the graveyard to cast the rebounding Call to Mind to bring SE back to the hand again, and recast it after attacking with TOM again (5), recasting it from rebound a third time (6). That created 18 1/1 tokens and gave me 6 free castings of 3cc< cards that ALSO gained rebound. Value!
Note for Feb 2020:
I realize over the last couple years that this deck has gone a bit higher in budget and so wanted to mention a couple things for those trying to keep the budget lower:
-You may switch out Eldrazi Monument for Archetype of Imagination.
-You may switch out Teferi's Protection for Unbreakable Formation or the cool new Commander 2020 card spoiled called Flawless Maneuver (lots of small hands).
-You may switch out some of the higher priced lands such as Adarkar Wastes, Hallowed Fountain, Glacial Fortress, and Sea of Clouds for "slower" dual lands like Temple of Enlightenment, etc., or just other basic lands if you prefer them to come into play untapped.
-Unfortunately, I could not find suitable alternatives for things like Anointed Procession and Divine Visitation.
