A budget mono red goblin deck. If you can't afford the Goblin Guides, replace them with Goblin Cohorts or Mogg Fanatics. Same goes for the Legion Loyalists.

The deck revolves around the "Bushwacker Brothers" as I call them: Goblin Bushwacker and his older brother Reckless Bushwacker. The idea is that you drop one of them on turn three or four, along with a one-drop buddy, and go full swing. You can easily get 10 or 11 damage off of this one swing, and that is usually enough to finish off your opponent (especially if they have been fetching and shocking the first few turns).

Skrik Prospector is a card I'm trying out. So far I like it. Turn one Prospector, turn two Mogg Warmashal. Then you can immediately eat the Mogg, getting that second token and playing a one drop. Pretty good value. It's also good for getting in enough mana to use a Bushwacker. This deck has a serious problem of being a single life point away from victory. With the help of ol' Prospector, you can eat a goblin for a lighting bolt or grenade for that all-important last bit of damage.

Alternatively, instead of Skirk Prospector I've seen people run Mogg Fanatic. Again, it's useful for eking out that last little bit of damage.

I've also included a super-secrete tech in the deck that I'm trying out: Fury of the Hoard. A real gamble, and liable to be a dead draw in the wrong situation, the draw of this card is that you get an extra attack step for free. In the ideal situation, it would let you swing in with a Goblin Piledriver twice in one turn (and thanks to the wording, the Piledriver will keep all the bonuses he got from the first combat added on to the ones he gets in the second combat!). If this stars align, Fury of the Hoard will snag that illustrious turn three victory. Right now, this is in the maybe board I'm trying out other tech right now. It has a problem with draining your hand for no real value.

Added in Reforge the Soul as a test run to help with getting GAS!

For the REAL moneybags out there, if you want to make the deck even more efficient, replace 8 of the Mountains for a playset of Bloodstained Mires and Wooded Foothills. This will add about $200 to the price tag of the deck. The fetches are used for deck-thinning. What you really need for this deck is SPEED, and nothing hurts worse than drawing a land for the 4th turn in a row (ugh...). But with Fetches, you draw two lands out of your deck for the price of one (and one life). This makes the odds of drawing into gas much more likely.

Sideboarding:

The flex in the deck comes from the sideboard. For sideboarding things out, you want to first go for the Goblin Grenades and the Fury of the Hoard, then Lightning Bolts as a last resort (you shouldn't have to sideboard more than 5 cards at a time anyway). Now, what do you put in?

Dragon's Claw - Are you in a mirror match? Is your opponent just SLIGHTLY faster than you? Well, have I got a spell for you! Anytime you are playing against Burn, Goblins, or Red Deck Wins, you can put in these bad-boys to slow your opponent down to a crawl. The play strategy changes up a little bit in these matches. Instead of racing our opponent to the finish line, we should shoot for a more midrange win. Focus on preserving your board state and building up value (and sneaking in damage) over time. These usually go on to about turn 5 or 6.

Goblin Chainwhirler - Going against a bunch of weenies? Like Elves, Humans, Tokens, or even Goblins? This should heat up those stalled Cold War matches. Side out the Goblin Chieftains for these. These are not the greatest side board option, to be honest. In the future, I'm going to replace them for Damping Spheres, which HOSE combo decks.

Guttural Response - Control giving you trouble? Spells being countered? Then look no further than Guttural Response! It's a sneaky counter-counter spell in GR. NO ONE EXPECTS IT!

Skullcrack - Lifegain got you down? Do you keep bolting but to no avail? Skullcrack is like Bolt, but more painful! Hit 'em where it hurts -- in their life total!

Smash to Smithereens OR Shattering Blow - Intimidated by a Wurmcoil Engine? Trapped by an Ensnaring Bridge? Fed up with your opponent having shinny things? Well there is only one solution - SMASH! The Shattering Blow can be used instead to get around that new Hardened Scales Affinity Deck.

Tormod's Crypt - Do you fear the wanton call of the grave? That pesky Zombie giving you trouble? Having PTSD from all those Flashback spells? Well, do what any gods-fearing goblin would do and seal all those nasties inside a crypt! This will put to rest Storm, Dredge, and any other graveyard shenanigans deck.
