Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Elevator Pitch: RW Exert deck that utilizes Always Watching to give creatures vigilance, allowing them to exert without becoming tapped (and staying tapped). Goal is to rush your opponent down as quickly as possible.

Heavy lifting is done by the Bloodlust Inciter and the various one and two-drop creatures. Gust Walker becomes a 3/3 Flyer when they exert on the attack, and the absolute beast Glory-Bound Initiate creates a hard to stop threat on the attack with the added bonus of lifelink- especially helpful against burn threats. If you manage to draw an opening hand of the Bloodlust Inciter and the Glory-Bound Initiate, or even the Gust Walker, you have a very credible threat on the board by turn two. A 4/4 with lifelink or a 3/3 with flying is hard to stop early in the game.

Resolute Survivors and Gideon of the Trials are your creature three-drops, with Survivors allowing you to do more damage for every exerting creature, and Gideon allowing you to nullify sources of damage and/or pump up the Champion of the Parish and Thalia's Lieutenant with every appearance of his 4/4 invulnerable human self.

Two copies of Glorybringer gives this deck some staying power in the mid-game, and can outright tilt the game in your favor when it hits the board. If you have an Always Watching already in play, Glorybringer becomes even more ridiculous.

Currently working on the Sideboard to bring it up to Modern standards.
