To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Weatherlight-themed commander deck.
Gerrard's storyline being the one I like the most, I've always wanted to build a deck around his crew. I still want the deck to function, but it has to tell a story.
I've included the characters I like, and even if I own some other (like Rofellos or older versions of those characters), I'd rather have a functionning deck.
Luckily most legendary characters that were once part of the Weatherlight's crew synergize well with one another.
Arvad is great with Sisay for the +4/+4 it gives her.
The other Sisay is just really good (I have her, so I'll run her).
Danitha isn't optimal, but there's a fair amount of equipments and aura.
The other version of Ertai can be said to be more powerful, but this deck doesn't want to sacrifice its pieces (besides Squee), so I'd rather run this one tbh.
Gerrard can be a game winner alongside our boardwipes.
Hanna works well with the tools I added such as Pernicious Deed, Sylvok Replica, etc.
Jhoira is just awesome in this deck. Most spells you cast draw you cards.
I don't want to pay a ton for one card, so I chose a version of Karn that'd be good but not that expansive. This one is fairly useful, even without running an artifact deck. Bodies and draw is good, especially if Sisay isn't around.
Legacy weapon is great with Ramos, and flavor-wise, you can't beat it.
Mirri can protect or end games, even without a way to tap her without attacking. The thing is, with Arvad, Day of Destiny or even a simple Hero's Blade, she won't be that frail anymore.
Raff is just a beast. Just being able to cast Urza's Ruinous Blast at instant speed is worth it.
Ramos can become the engine of this deck (pun intended).
Selenia is great with Ramos and Jhoira, also she's a flyer, which can become real handy in this deck.
Squee works really well with Chainer, Ramos, or even Nin.
Starke can become a weird political tool.
Tahngarth can also end games quickly with a few boosts, and players might want to use him against bigger threats.
Tiana can protect a few pieces, and work well with Choking Restraints, even if it costs a lot of mana to do so.
Also... Weatherlight.
The rest is pretty self explanatory. Also, I'm not included $10 lands, so forget legendary lands aside from Okina.
This deck might not be the best EDH deck, but it should be able to work decently, and it does have a lot of interesting interactions. Also, it wins flavor-wise !
