This deck aims to win through commander damage with Zurgo Helmsmasher. With 7 attack and haste, he provides a reliable 3-turn clock to kill an opponent of choice. Double strike, extra combat steps and equipments like Sunforger can further accelerate that clock.

In order to dish out damage and keep opponents in check at the same time, the deck exploits Zurgo's third ability, which makes him indestructible during your turn. This allows you to play a lot of boardwipes (15 in fact), making this deck very strong against creature-based decks. Obliterate and Jokulhaups clear all permanents except for Zurgo and enchantments, which gives you a lot of time to attack before everyone has rebuilt their board. Darksteel Ingot, Darksteel Citadel, Black Market and Smothering Tithe survive and allow you to rebuild much quicker, Boros Charm and Teferi's Protection make the destruction completely one-sided. Floating mana and casting Bitter Ordeal after a full boardwipe can completely gut your opponents' decks.
Another way to win is to deal combat damage with Worldslayer attached to Zurgo, which locks down the board as all permanents except these two are destroyed every turn.

Besides that the deck features a flexible Sunforger-package that has answers for most situations you'll run into, more single target removal and some stax pieces to slow down opponents (Rest in Peace and Cursed Totem don't really affect this deck) aswell as your typical staples, ramp and lands.
