To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
The core and synergies of this deck was originally built by @Ylhyssia. I think she used an excellent selection of death triggers in a token building strategy which truly captures the spirit of both the commanders abilities.
I made slight modifications to it, purely because I am very familiar with the metagame in my regular pods/groups. I slowed the speed down slightly to explore a sprinkle more combo options. I also modified the aristocratic support system to become a life draining/gaining power plant. Her original list, I predict will be extremely fast and quite aggressive. I honestly may have to revert back to it if play testing reveals I'm consistently running too slow in the early game.
The main additions:
Divine Visitation: which can go infinite with the Requiem Angel.
NIm Deathmantle: Which makes Grave Titan and Knight-Captain of Eos go infinite through Ashnod's Altar.
Knight-Captain of Eos: Which can go infinite through Karmic Guide + Reveillark and a free sac outlet, or NIm Deathmantle and Ashnod's Altar.
Artistocrats:
Vindictive Vampire: This is the only "leech" aristocrat that wasn't on the original list. I made room for him. All 4 draining aristocrats are to synergize with ...
Wound Reflection: This combined with the aristocratic "leeches" should become a powerplant of lifedrain. This is also just a straight up nasty card to have in play at the same time as Athreos, God of Passage.
It needs to be play tested, but I am quite content with what I'm looking at.
Thanks again Ylhyssia :)
