To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Leverages the afterlife mechanic of Orzhov (and similar cards) with low cost creatures. Angelic Exaltation empowers one of your creatures when it attacks alone leaving a host of creatures to block. Creatures include abilities like lifelink to take advantage of empowerment. Additionally, your creatures and Teysa mitigate efforts to destroy them because they generate spirit tokens when destroyed (enhancing the benefits of Angelic Exaltation). Severed Strands works great with this deck because there is a glut of tokens to sacrifice, and if you sacrifice an empowered creature you get a ton of life and destroy an opposing creature. Dawn of hope works off this benefit as it allows you to draw cards as you gain life (Healer's Hawk and Teysa help a ton as well) while also providing a route to more token creatures. The card draw mitigates the drawback of having multiple Angelic Exaltations and Dawn of Hopes.
