To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
I've been looking for a fun idiot combo deck to run, and the mutate ability of Vadrok inspired me. It came to me in a fleeting dream that Vadrok was the key. Snap, Vadrok, any form of copying, and a zero drop idiot for recycling. Four mana required, three red and a white for vadrok to mutate. Snap bounces the body and we get two lands untapped and two more for any copy we can manage to make. Before we get copies, every two mana accessible after 4 allows for bounces and taking advantage of casts or entering the battlefield. Kykar gives us red mana for every bounce, thousand year storm stacks for every cast, and seething song lets us start rolling early potentially. Crystal Shard doubles as protection and a way to bounce to recycle cards that aren't snap.
Other than the combo pieces, the deck has a general mutate suite to allow for generic recycling of spells. Every zero drop that doesn't immediately die so we can consistently get mutations aswell. Sevinne's reclaimation can bring back a few of the mutates but is mostly for zero drop recycling.
Tutors make for consistency, especially in combo. Thanks to Vadrok we can even use some of the generally risky tutors that send something to the graveyard.
Draw power for the same reasons as above. Discarding isn't a penalty for Vadrok generally. The more cards we draw, the more likely we get to have fun.
Jeskai is blessed with good answers for basically everything so a general suite of answers for whatever you fear in your meta. Mine is up for modifications but the choices I made are general all around picks.
Just enough ramp.
Too lazy at the moment to input every single land but you know what to do with a manabase.
Sideboard are meaner combo pieces that cause instant wins or extra bounce cards that I'm still considering where to put. Consider at your discretion.
