Mirror Mirror is, simply put, a deck designed to overwhelm anything in the way. The main combo of the deck is Parallel Lives and Mirrorworks. Combined, the two cards allow you to cast any artifact creature, and then create a token double for 2, which is then multiplied by Parallel lives (x2, x4, x8, or x16 depending on how many PL are in play).
In the beginning, the deck needs to focus on survival. There are several low-cost creatures in the deck, but the idea is to use Grand Architect (to let all blue creatures tap for colorless artifact mana) or Birthing Pod (to 'sacrifice up' to higher cost creatures) as quickly as possible - hopefully with one Mirrorworks and one or more Parallel lives in play.
Once the deck begins to combo off of itself, however, it's essentially over. The sheer volume of tokens generated by some (Precursor Golem, Myr Battlesphere, and Wurmcoil Engine specifically) allow you to come out of a battle in much better position than when you started it.
Remember that Parallel lives affects -all- tokens created on your side of the field: in that vein, Precursor Golem starts to come out with an army (4 tokens with PL1, up to 48 tokens with PL4) and the effect of Wurmcoil Engine is likewise modified (One Wurmcoil Engine creates between 2 and 16 of each token when killed). Adding Mirrorworks to the mix can get insane quickly.
As an example. If we take Precursor Golem (5 cost, 3/3, brings out 2 3/3 colorless artifact golem tokens) when there is two Parallel Lives and one Mirrorworks out, it looks something like this:
Pay 5 for Precursor Golem, and 2 for Mirrorworks: Bring out Precursor Golem and a Precursor Golem token (from Mirrorworks). This Mirrorworks token is affected by Parallel Lives, meaning four additional tokens come into play.
Each of these six new Precursor Golems brings out two 3/3 precursor golem artifact tokens, which are each multiplied by 4 due to Parallel Lives; with an end result of 7 mana bringing out six Precursor Golems and 48 3/3 tokens.
Other creatures, such as Myr Battlesphere, work similarly. Playing this deck requires lots of tokens, having a hundred creatures come into play in a round is -not- all that uncommon.
