To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Flittering Death is a Ninja-themed mono blue deck that focuses on battlefield control and the Ninjutsu skill of Ninja in order to get creatures out quickly and easily, and maintain control of the board.
Control is obtained through the occasional useage of counterspells (Condescend, Hinder) or bounce-back (through Echoing Thruth). Direct Damage is also feasible due to Shuriken and the deck being primarily ninja.
Ninjutsu also comes into play to allow the user to use a necessary ability as soon as it becomes necessary, rather than forcing them to set up something beyond "at least one creature isn't blocked" in order to perform the ability. Vedalken Shackles ensures a particularly difficult enemy is dealt with until a more permanent solution arises (or just to snag a particularly nice creature), and Sword of Fire and Ice gives the ninja a bit more staying power than they might otherwise have.
