Goal of the Deck

To whittle your opponents down with Hallar, the Firefletcher whilst duplicating strong kicker spells like Comet Storm using Verazol, the Split Current.

Alternate Win conditions

• With nine +1/+1 counters on Hallar, equip them with Grafted Exoskeleton and cast one final kicked spell to Infect all opponents for the win
• Simic Ascendancy can be a fairly achievable win in this deck with all of the counter synergies.

Combos

No purposeful infinite combos.

• Having Curiosity or Keen Sense on Hallar when you cast a kicked spell with draw you a card for each opponent that takes the damage from Hallar’s triggered ability!

Archivist Notes

Perhaps it goes without saying, but this is not a “legal” Commander deck as these partner commanders are not actual partners. The power of this deck is really not that high so talk to your playgroup to see if they are cool with it!

As for gameplay, don’t be afraid to cast Verazol for two mana just to get them out there. Sure, you will only get to copy one spell before they go back to the Command Zone, but they are worded in a way that, when you then pay 2 plus another 2 for Commander Tax, it will then come in with 4 counters on it! Cast and copy away!

When it comes time to take out any opponents lower in life, feel free to use Bioshift to move any/all counters from Verazol to Hallar before casting a final kicked spell!
