Vadrok Blink (Standard)

Vadrok is totally broken in this shell! The idea behind this deck is to protect a single mutated creature and then value your opponent to death.

There are 7 flash mutate creatures in order to protect your mutated creature at instant speed using Vadrok's mutate ability. Thirst for Meaning and Thrill of Possibility are used to cycle through your deck and get valuable cards into the graveyard for Vadrok. Multiple down ticks on Teferi, Time Raveler a turn can be back-breaking. Unbreakable Formation makes your creature indestructible, but that's not the main focus. Teferi's Time Twist will blink the whole mutated stack and they all return to play separated at the end of turn, each with a +1/+1 counter. Instant army! Justiciar's Portal is a blink that splits the team and immediately returns them, each with first strike, for blow out alpha blocks. You should always leave up mana to protect Vadrok once he's out with either blink, indestructible, or a flash creature to trigger Vadrok's mutate ability.

Flame Sweep dumpsters aggro without hitting any of our creatures. Deafening Clarion won't kill our mutation or army if we've dropped any +1/+1 counters and gives lifelink if we're stabilizing from a slow early game. The Quasiduplicate may be just a "win more" card but it's nice to leave behind a token with all the mutate abilities when you blink in the boys. This deck plays out really fast with a good opening grip and a turn 4 kill/concede is not uncommon. When you're bouncing, blinking, sweeping and drawing all the cards, it almost plays like a control deck.

The sideboard is an honest attempt to deal with the meta. The planeswalkers might seem odd but they work really well with Vadrok. Narset is for cycling and heavy card draw and Ashiok is for recursion decks. The Eternal Isolation is tech to deal with Gyruda (experimental). Any comments or suggestions are welcome.
