Snow-Covered Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle

I always wanted to have a deck with big sea creatures but never really found what I was looking for. That is when I first decided to try and make my own deck. This is the first deck I fully brewed myself and would love to hear your thoughts and ideas. I've only been playing MTG for 2 years now so I still have a lot to learn.

I love the idea of summoning Marit Lage through Dark Depths and Marit Lage's Slumber, and it fits the Kraken theme of Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle. So I came up with this snow themed deck. We can ramp into big creatures and try to summon Marit Lage with the help of Into the North, Sylvan Scrying and Nylea's Intervention which can also fetch us Thespian's Stage. Cards like Whelming Wave, Serpent of Yawning Depths and Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep synergies great with our Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents theme. Since we need snow permanents for our Marit Lage's Slumber they also make Abominable Treefolk, Ice-Fang Coatl and Rimefeather Owl (wich also can give us more snow permanents) stronger. Scrying Sheets also helps us find what we need and also can boosts Quest for Ula's Temple to get our big creatures out for free.

The deck is mostly themed around snow and sea. I like the idea of a story behind a deck and try to incorporate every card into those themes. That's why I like to use cards from Coldsnap and Ice Age which fit the snow theme. Or cards like Mystic Remora, Rapid Hybridization and Treasure Cruise which fit the sea theme.
