i think this was a lucky 3-0. i curved out really strongly against my r1 opponent. my round 2 opponent drew 4 lands each game, and that seemed like not enough for them; at the same time, i put on enough pressure to end the game kinda quickly.
match 3 was a tough one vs 4c ramp. i pressured them game 1, disrupted with spellbinder, and stole their big beanstalk giant to ko them. g2 i led on spellbinder ephemerate, but their ramp was quicker than my pressure, and they just haymakered me into oblivion. my mull to 5 g3 was tough, but alirios + ephemerate gave me big pressure, and they boardwiped that stuff by itself. from their i got lucky enough to draw all my kos - ugin, kasmina, in bolas's clutches, and dream eater! ugin alone was a nightmare for my opponent's slow deck, and though they killed it, i made enough tokens to finish them off.
