BG toads (neon arena draft) (Limited)

solid 3-0 with bg enchantments...but the only real payoff was tatsunari. thankfully, i drew him regularly and he is insanely powerful. the rest of the deck is generally just midrangey goodstuff.

matches in backwards order:

• smashed a slowish UB deck in the last round. curved out and attacked and they were just too slow.
• beat RW aggro in round 2. leech gauntlet and lifelink went a long way towards fighting against some evasive samurai in a racing game 1, and in game 2 tatsunari was just way too much value for them.
• round 1 was wild against a mildly janky bant deck. they had a bunch of the 3/3 reach defender, which stacks up so well against tatsunari. our first two games were long and drawn out - i grinded them with too many cards drawn from searchlight companion and reckoner bankbuster and eventually just went so wide they couldn't defend my alpha strike. but in game two, they equipped the platinum angel reconfigure card, and i have VERY LITTLE INTERACTION! i tried to fade it from antiquity, but the blinked it. i drew my whole deck (literally) with my dockside chefs after i got them to zero life and found no answers, so i scooped. i sided in some white to try to beat this card, but my draw ended up being aggressive enough - AND i think they were making attacks that seemed bad - and they lost the race.
