grixis good cards get there. the matches against RG beat and UB blink (?) in rounds 1 and 3 were not very eventful.

round 2 vs the mirror was very long. their deck had more cheap stuff and creatures, my deck had more spells and walkers. we navigated a very long game 1 - we traded off bodies, i drew cards off kaito forever, and eventually i used magma opus, then flashed it back with a few other spells using mizzix's mastery. i was down to under 5 cards in the deck, but they were out of gas and i had a doom whisperer and other random dorks to end things (along with memory in the bin in case things went sideways). they curved out and rushed me g2; i board wiped, but a doom whisperer ended up finishing me off. no pressure on their life meant surveiling for whatever they needed. g3 involved answers and curving out, with early treasurers from face breaker to give me great start. kaito drew cards while they tried to pressure me, but there was some 1 for 1 trading both ways. again magma opus was a key card, as was hitting their land drops. the opus tapped their massacre wurm; they responded with toxrill; i had 9, which let me chainer's edict with flashback to get em both. that was the beginning of the end; from there, kaito drew me into more action, and finale of eternity with X=10 into a similarly large ribbons was enough to finish the game.
