4c Rakdos (chromatic cube) (Cube)

another nice 3-0. was heavy black early - yawgmoth, the boardwipes, evolved sleeper. i found some fixing and in pack two grixis started to shape up. a timely fabled passage early in pack 3 meant that the minsk and boo that followed was on the table as well.

played against a bunch of similar midrange soup decks; beat a mirror-ish deck in the finals that was not in a good position vs me. they were slightly faster, but not fast enough, and so my cards were just generally better.

match 2 was the best vs. 4c UW, which had a few counters and some good card draw. g1 was a long affair that it felt like i was never winning - they just had more gas forever. in g2 i curved magda into t4 minsk and boo, and they inst-conceded. g3 was a long affair, and i was stuck on 5 lands for a while. i kept a hand full of gas and dealt some quick damage, and they bounced nicol bolas, the ravager twice, which was a think to do to not take damage, but it did keep them from building resources. they almost stabilized with atraxa, grand unifier, but i bounced it with silumgar's command, and then when they replayed it angarath stole it for lethal in the air. that was a tough but fun match to play.
