To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
i started with proft's eidetic memory from a kind of weak pack, and rolled into UG with a hard-hitting question and an evidence examiner. i got the coerced to kill mid p1, along with a case of the trampled garden. p2 i opened and took izoni, and then sort of settled into this midrange deck.
as an aside - i know white is the best color and boros is the best pair. but boy, being in white means you are fighting for it. i have never been passed a novice inspector in my whole life. so i don't mind starting in a different direction at all. this deck had a good curve, which meant that i didn't get run over by the three white decks i played this draft. but it also had a bunch of late-game power - izoni, the combine chrysalis, the 2 case of the trampled garden, and proft's eidetic memory (which i admittedly never drew) all gave my deck something to play to in a long game, and those rewarded me in my 3-0.
i played against UW, UW again, and GW. all white aggro decks! the first was a bit slow, and so i just curved out and made plays and won without much fanfare. the other two were a bit stronger, with lots of assertive creatures. i had some wins vs both where they kept land light hands, and my deck ended up being the aggressor. i also had wins where i "did the thing" and didn't let them get ahead, allowing me to leverage izoni and/or combine.
best game was actually a loss vs that GW deck. they were v fast and hit me hard and early, but i eventually started turning clues into 4/4 fliers and clogging the ground with a giant 7/7 crowd-control warden...but i was at 2 and lost to a topdecked escape tunnel. this was brutal! but i came back with a trampled garden win g2 and a win g3 in which i got a 3-for-1 with crowd-control warden flipping up in combat and needing 2 tricks just to trade!
i have found a lot of fun with UG in this format. this was a cool 3-0.
