Golgari Food 6 CMC (Standard)

The idea is to use foods to draw cards by sacrificing them with Vraska, Golgari Queen and using her effect along with Trail of Crumbs. She also offers removal for any permanent CMC <= 3 and can be brought to the battlefield on turn 3. You should be consistently able to use Casualties of War on turn 6 but in best case scenarios can be used as soon as turn 4. A play set of Murderous Rider is used for CMC >= 4 threats. Prioritize drawing cards and getting lands on the battlefield since all of our winning tools have CMC 5 and CMC 6.

Liliana, Dreadhorde General and Garruk, Cursed Huntsman are our late game tools. They create tokens to put pressure on your opponents and can kill creatures to relieve pressure put upon you. Liliana is specially useful since making your opponent sacrifice his creatures goes around hexproof, indestructible and protection effects. Since destroying the tokens would improve our advantage (by drawing cards with Liliana's passive effect or getting Garruk's emblem to permanently pump all of our creatures) the opponent will most likely go for the planeswalkers.

The sideboard provides extra removal tools for artifacts, enchantments and creatures on the graveyard that can be revived (i.e. "Escape" effects) using Return to Nature. There's tools for dealing with control decks (Shifting Ceratops, Duress). For aggro decks or token decks, Massacre Girl and Assassin's Trophy (since ramping an aggro deck doesn't really help it much). The elderspell is there for those decks that are heavy on planeswalkers and can be used for a quick ultimate on any of our planeswalkers.
