Demons come for you (Standard)

This deck is focused to keep your opponent's board clean while preparing yours for Demons arrival.

Demon of Catastrophes and Doom Whisperer are two powerfull finishers that must be handled by your opponent... and you have 8 of them !

As you can see the deck is heavilly focused on sacrifycing your creatures... and you have plenty to do so : Vampire Neonate, Tattered Mummy and Doomed Dissenter are all sacrifice fuel, while Severed Strand (mainly on Vampire Neonate), Plaguecrafter, Midnight Reaper and Demon of Catastrophes are sacrifice consumers.

The deck is very creature-hungry, so you should run out of creatures quickly. To answer that, Midnight Reaper should replace all your dead creatures with fresh new cards, at the cost of 1 life... That you can gain back with some uses of Severed Strand. Sword-Point Diplomacy give you another way to draw but the opponent will probably never let you draw a demon this way (unless they are short of life of they have a response). Finally Abnormal Endurance give you a last way to have some creature come back, plus the fact it can offer a surprise trade with the power buff.

Facing aggro deck or removal heavy deck, you can side in Ritual of Soot (for aggro decks) or Gruesome Menagerie (or Rise from the grave if you prefer bring back your demons). Walk the plank is another very good removal to side in if opponent doesn't play merfolk. Diamond Mare can give you more lifegain if Severed Strands is not enough.
