To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
"Three-" (although arguably 4) "wincons in a single deck? What is this?!?" (you might ask...)
This is a slow deck that deals with your opponent's threats until the mid-late game, where it puts immense pressure upon the opponent until they collapse. (I've also brought something special, just for you... but I'll tell you more about that later.)
Use removal early to get to later parts of the game.
Get a slight bit of ramp, but mostly mana fixing with lockets and Chromatic Lantern, or just some mana fixing with Thaumatic Compass (Later on in the game, after it transforms; it can stop a Crackling Drake, or an opposing Etrata, the silencer; from attacking.).
Try to go through your deck, using: Teferi's +1, Risk Factor, and surveil effects. Once you've set up your deck the way you want it...
Etrata, the Silencer becomes a big threat when you no longer have much of a deck left, especially because we run so many copies. Even if you don't manage to win the game using the secondary effect, just being able to exile one or two threats is amazing, and puts a lot of pressure on your opponent.
Teferi, once he's gotten a bit of loyalty is also a big threat to many opponents, they usually have to remove him or lose the game. You might be surprised when you find out how far they're willing to go to remove him sometimes. (Teferi doesn't like change. But change is good for us, we'll make it good for him too...)
Sunbird's Invocation let's you win the game on the back of Banefire. (Hey!)
(Hey you!) (Yes you...) (Remember when I said I brought something special for you? It's time I tell you about it.)
(If you play Apex of Power, it'll exile 7 cards, and you'll be able to cast them, but that's not all... It's a spell!)
(What you mean "What?" You don't get it?...)
(If you have Sunbird's Invocation out, Apex of Power will let you look at the top 10 cards of your deck, looking for a Dream Eater; Etrata, the Silencer; Doom Whisperer; or Teferi, Hero of Dominaria.)
(You'll also get your 10 mana back, although limited to a single color, you can use this to cast Banefire for 9, or literally any card with converted mana cost 10 or less that you've exiled with Thief of Sanity)
(By the way, after you cast a Banefire exiled with Apex of Power, it enters the graveyard, where it'll be useful in the future if you cast a mission briefing.)
Finally, an important card to mention somewhere in here, is Thief of Sanity. It mills the opponent's deck a bit, while sometimes giving cards that you can use to win. (Again, because you can use mana of any type this synergises with Apex of Power.)
