Life Gains for Days (EDH / Commander)

Primary win condition I started building the deck around was Aetherflux Reservoir,but I included secondary win conditions like Exsanguinate or Serra Avatar to be used if Aetherflux Reservoir is removed, or if they can be lethal with less risk earlier. I decided against cards like Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood because of the hate they will generate and their lack of speed to truly gain their value, I expect they would be removed quickly, and I would rather save counter spells and effects to save faster-acting win conditions. Regardless, Oloro, Ageless Ascetic has a softer version of the Sanguine Bond effect, and if removed can be reapplied much easier. This deck is better at sudden big hits at single targets, as opposed to slower kills on all opponents that would more likely band the other players against you sooner. I also decided against Felidar Sovereign because its win condition simply doesn't seem fun to me (just cast and insta-win the game with enough life, which this deck will probably allow you to have), but perhaps more importantly it will more than likely be removed when cast, so in the former it just seems less fun, but in the latter it would end up usually being low value save for burning a counter of some sort, but if winning is all that matters it may have a place in this deck as just another win condition.

Several cards are included to help get all three mana colors on the board, and Azor's Gateway as final mana engine due to expected high life total. I was trying to keep this deck on the cheaper side, but if you have the money there are many lands that can replace the basics included to increase utility, total mana generation, and mana color availability throughout the game.
