Mikaeus the unhallowed otk sultai (EDH / Commander)

So first of all I choose to have partner commanders as it reduces the deck size and thrasios helps draw while ikra can help save face against combat strategies. If you wanted to you can run muldrotha as your command if you do I'd recommend adding 2 tutors in place of thrasios and ikra.

If youre not familiar with this combo you use protean hulk to summon mikaeus and walking ballista. Walking ballista dies then comes back with a +1/+1 counter because of mikaeus then you remove it to ping a player and repeat until all opponents are dead.

All of the utility cards are good on their own while some can be win conditions in the right game others can synergize with the other cards as well. I specifically want to touch on brainstorm and prey upon as brainstorm can put both mikaeus and walking ballista back in the deck if you happen to draw protean hulk and them so you can combo and prey upon can be removal but can also be used to kill protean hulk in a pinch to combo. Alhammaret's archive is great because it synergies with ikra and all of your card draw. Most of the time tezzeret the seeker will be used to get your alters so you can sac your protean hulk to combo or plant tokens make opponents sac card through grave pact/dictate of erebos and get lots of mana.

Portcullis is great for combating wide board strategies (very good in my playgroup) its also a good political card and doesn't hinder the deck too much as it is rare to have more than 2 creatures out at a time however it can also be cut for a tutor or additional card draw.

Finally having a primarily basic land base as most of the ramp searches for basic lands.
