Trained Guild Master (Modern)

This Deck is more or less an aggro Deck, with Combo-Parts. The most important cards are Soulfire Grand Master, Training Grounds and the Izzet Guildmage.

The Combo of Soulfire Grand Master and Training Grounds helps me to get every Instant or Sorcery for only two Mana back to the hand.

The Combo of Izzet Guildmage and Training Grounds let me copy each Instant and Sorcery for 1 Mana.

If I have all three of them I could for example make 6 Damage and get 6 Life for 2 Mana with one Lightning Bolt that was copied once by Izzet Guildmage.

So, it is important to protect those Combo Parts. For this you can use the Izzet Charm, the Boros Charm (Indestructible) or the Giver of Runes.

Another Combo is Izzet Guildmage, Training Grounds and Manamorphose. With you can make a loop, where you copy Manamorphose x times and each time draw a card and gain one Mana of any color in addition. Then you can use this mana for Lightning Bolt or Boros Charm to make Direct Damage to your opponent. If your opponent can somehow protect himself from direct damage you can still boost the Sprite Dragon with these spells and finish him with them since they have haste.

Another Combo is Soulfire Grand Master and Time Warp. With this you can create infinite turns. Training Grounds helps you here again to get this Combo two Mana cheaper.

The Opponent plays Eldrazi? No problem, board in Azorius Guildmage and tap Emrakul before he can attack.

The Opponent plays Tron? No problem either. With Molten Rain you can destroy his Urza-Land-Collection.

If your Opponent has lots of creatures you can board in Dawn Charm. Together with Soulfire Grand Master you can prevent combat damage every round.

Your Opponent plays a lot of burn spells? Return the favour with Swerve.
