This version of Jund is more low to the ground than is normal. By taking out the four drops and replacing them with Abbot of Keral Keep we are able to place a more aggressive push onto our opponents. By staying more low to the ground we are able to shore up the less than 50/50 matchups while keeping our good matchups in our favor.
I have also taken out one Liliana of the Veil for one Goblin Rabblemaster. The reasoning is that I really love this card and it needed a slot. It wins games just by itself if you can keep the ground clear, which Jund does extremely well. There are some games where you literally drop Goblin Rabblemaster and win target game.
I have also considered taking out one or two of the raging ravines for a few more shocks or basics.
Revisions: I have currently cut 2 Raging Ravine for a Stomping Grounds and a Bloodstained Mire. I feel having four lands that always come in tapped is a mistake for this version of Jund. I know it is one of the core cards, but it is just too slow
Cut 1 Goblin Rabblemaster and 1 Scavenging Ooze for 2 Courser of Kruphix. Courser is a house for long game card advantage. It also makes your Abbot timing a bit more precise.
