Arcades, the Strategist behind the wall (EDH / Commander)

this deck started initially as some kind of a 60 cards "troll"-deck. It was ok but, but never strong enough to compete with the other decks at my playgroup.
When I was sorting out some of my MTG cards I was close to sort it out but I decided to give this deck a chance as a commander deck. Surprisingly it turns out to be quite strong versus other creature based decks, because the walls/defenders are so cheap compared to "normal" creatures. I added some cards like ghostly prison, propaganda etc. to make it more difficult to attack e.g. with a lot of tokens. Additionally I was able to use some "one-sided" boardwhipes (like slaughter the strong or fell the mighty) which gives a lot of advantage. I think it is still some kind of "troll" deck, but now it is really fun to play (and also really beginner friendly!).

2022 Update: This deck isn't budgetfirendly anymore BUT this is just because of the manabase. If the duals are removed it will drastically drop in price. There are no big changes related to the walls I use, but a lot of changes on the other cards. I added one "endless" kombo (Wall of Kelp + Intruder Alarm + Axebane Guardian) and removed some "nice to have tools" for more cards which support the overall deck strategy. There is also more carddraw, more lands and a stronger protection for the creatures.
