Deck for 1v1 matches, but using the multiplayer banlist and rules.
Plan is to control the board with an iron fist to protect Hinata (only need to protect her from one opponent, instead of three!), keep the opponent's board empty, and set up for a game-winning combo.
Combo is simply Sudden Substitution + a spell that gives an extra turn but makes the player lose at the end of that turn. Combine with something like Silence, Abeyance, or Aurelia's fury to make sure the opponent can't do anything in that last turn.
Since protecting Hinata is everything to this deck, I have tons of interaction. I can't decide to lean more heavily into counterspells, removal, or other Hinata-protecting cards like Timely Ward (2 mana!) or blink spells (1 mana!).
Counterspells are more generally applicable, but removal provides better card advantage (Heliod's Intervention at X=10 costs 2 white mana lol). Protective permanents are, well, permanent. What do I prioritize?
