A darkness has been brewing within the deep corners of the multiverse. After K'rrik resurfaced and engineered the resurrection of Yawgmoth, the two worked to gather the most nefarious villains in secret.

Now Yawgmoth has created a Cabal to take over the entire multiverse. The Silent Counsel consist of 13 individuals with great power and influence. Among the Counsel, Yawgmoth has picked out 5 generals that govern different aspects of the Cabal.

The Silent Counsel:
Yawgmoth, Leader of the Cabal Legion
K'rrik, Legion's Second in Command
Purraj, War General of the Legion
Skithiryx, Dragon General of Plagues
Sheoldred, Praetor General of Assassins
Gonti, Aetherborn General of Commerce
Ob Nixilis, Planeswalker General of Demons

The rest of the Counsel:
Ayara, Eldraine Queen
Endrek Sahr. Master of Thrulls
Liliana, Wielder of the Veil
Mikaeus, Keeper of the Tombs
Syr Konrad, Defender of the Stronghold
Vilis, Broker of the Crossroads

UPDATE:
The Cabal gathered artifacts and researched lore on a long lost foe to the good world.
For his plan to proceed, Yawgmoth travelled to Theros himself, seeking the God of Death.
He made a deal with Erebos for the soul of the one they've researched. Erebos joined the cabal, a general of faith and worship (as part of the deal) and then let them have access to the soul of this one individual, but to resurrect him they would need to go through trials..even to reach the chamber the soul was kept in. An army of soulless entities with powerful liches sat between the Cabal and the chamber. Liliana met the army of the soulless with her own army of the dead, while Skithiryx rained plague hailfire from above.
Vilis and Sheoldred faced off against powerful liches while one of their newest members of the Council, Varragoth (picked up from the plane Kaldheim) snuck into the final chamber and released the chains keeping them out. After battling armies and dealing with mind bending trials, Yawgmoth entered the final chamber that was unlocked and found that he was forced to relinquish a soul for a soul to release the spirit they came for.
He turned to Purraj and drove his fist through her heart. 'Sorry, just business.'
With that, the fallen war general's soul was trapped in the underworld and released was Tevesh Szat.
Tevesh joined the cabal and lead Yawgmoth to a hidden world, the leader of the cabal's true prize he sought after all along...

New Additions to the Counsel:

+Erebos, God General of Worship
+Varragoth, Thief of Darkness
+Tevesh Szat, Corrupter of Wills

-Purraj of Urborg slain by Yawgmoth.

UPDATE:
Sheoldred conspires to gain power, slaying Ob Nixilis using a long-lost forgotten Quietus Spike.
She unleashed Braids to cause chaos and distract the demon planeswalker just enough for the Praetor to strike.
She took over the Lord of Pacts, bringing in his followers under her fold in an attempt to arm herself with an army in case Yawgmoth decided to come after her.
He did do so, but not for revenge. He came to Sheoldred's realm to congratulate her on her schemes.
The Praetor took further advances on the Cabal Leader and within a short time, the two decided to make a pact with each other.

Meanwhile, Liliana took this opportunity to advance her own status, enlisting new recruits in Jadar and Gisa from other planes. Eventually K'rrik promoted Liliana to general status, to close the vacuum created by Ob Nixilis's death.

+Liliana, Dreadhorde General
