In this deck I decided to play the sideboard as an extra game zone; its my Wizard spellbook. The idea being to have any number of spells on hand that I may have need to use, as well as keeping the higher costings spells within reach while not being burdened with them...
This one follows after the last deck I made ("Human Generostiy") in terms of doing extra damage but also by doing extra copies of spells as well...
Let me tell you, at 29 different spells (with another 15 to reach for), it was a hard decision whittling that down to what this deck is. There are so many good spells that would have fit in to this but limits had to be made. Two of which being creature count (at 30) and mana (again at 30; almost a third of the deck). I tried to balance it all out but unless I can physically play this deck, its a little harder to do in just my head...
(The only card in this deck that isn't legal is the Commander but that set is soon to be released so I got a head start on this one; those various Niv-Mizzet cards were naturally made to be played together)
My only one real concern with this deck was of burning through the library... and then not being able to draw again...
(I removed two wizards from it because of that, even though drawing is how most of this does substantial damage to the opponent. I've never really played a blue spell deck before so chalk this one up to inexperience. Comments and suggestions are of course, always welcomed.)
