Based on original idea "Dr. Bedlam's House of Mental Ease" by David Joyce for Inquest Magazine #13 (#12, May 1996, p.23)

Original Description: How many of you are disturbed by your addiction to Magic? Have you considered seeking professional help? Well, we at Inquest are pleased to present you with the services of the good Dr. Bedlam and his therapheutic course of treatments, designed to help alleviate all those nasty, icky feelings that get in the way of our ability to feel...good about ourselves. Let's take a look at what's in the good Doctor's bag...

Original decklist: No playable deck; it's just a list of cards (circa 1996) that have a relation to abnormal psychology and treatment. The list however suggested a Black/Blue deck, which lead to this latest iteration...

This decklist: Leave your opponent a gibbering mess with the good Doctor (Circu), his assistants (Artist and Scribe), and some inner demons. Discard, milling, and good old-fashioned lobotomy ensures they can't play with their prized creatures and clever combos.

And don't worry if the madness starts to rub off on your performance during the game. Think of it as an inoculation; you have to be a little delirious to survive the Doctor's treatments.
