Cook the Newt - Recipe for Newt-Stew (Budget) (Casual)

This Deck focuses on the Bubbling Cauldron - Festering Newt - Bogbrew Witch Combo. You sac the Newt to the Cauldron with Witch on the board and cause 4 lifedrain on your opponent and give a creature -4/-4 until end of turn (thats why Bogbrew Witch is needed for the combo).
Bogbrew Witch tutors the other pieces to the battlefield, but sadly costs 4 mana to cast. For that I put in 4 Dark Ritual to be able to cast her on turn 2 and have a very fast start.

But we only have 4 copies of Festering Newt to do our thing, so we need many recursion solutions for him to be able to cause enough lifeloss for a win. These are:

Undertaker

• exchanges a card in your hand with Festering Newt for 1 mana
• pretty little extra combo with Grim Haruspex: he triggers when Newt gets saced and draws a card. Then you have that card to discard with Untertaker to recurse the Newt

Unearth

• recurses nearly every creature in this deck (unfortunately not the Bogbrew Witch)

Cadaver Imp

• resurces a creature back to your hand

Isareth the Awakener

• single time recursion, because the creature gets exiled when killed
• able to recurse the witch to battlefield

Grim Return

• Instant recursion

With our plan we need some time to win the game. Cast Down, Doom Blade and Murder buys some time if our opponent is likely to overrun us until we gain life with our combo.

To have more activations of Bubbling Cauldron per turn we use Manifold Key to untap the Cauldron for 1 mana.

Besides 2 Mortuary Mire and 2 Memorial to Folly which both are additional recursions we just have basicslands in our manabase. If anyone knows other good utility lands which fit in here, please tell me. ;-)
