This is a semi-budget deck that is built mostly with cards from my collection and serves mostly as my "go to" deck for a casual round of EDH. It can still be played on some beginner tables as well as get you to some sneaky but rewarding wins on high-power-tables. I tried to built this deck in many different versions (Enchantment-focused, Token-focused or Graveyard/Mill-focused) but this allrounder version the best one so far.
The plan is a bit complicated, but bear with me:
5.A. Commander-Damage = Aim for Pharika becoming a huge pile of beef and just smash face with her. Cards needed: Helm Of The Gods, Nighthowler, Nylea's Colossus or Garruk, Cursed Huntsman (pump Pharika) + Storm Front, Dauthi Embrace or Extinguish All Hope to clear the way. (Garruk's Emblem gives Trample too)
5.B. Milling out your opponent = Aim for the biggest amount of Mana possible and use it to cast either Damnable Pact or Dread Summons with massive X-Value. Other Spells that help you with that: Shared Trauma, Rites Of Flourishing and Mindcrank (Keep in mind that you have a Fate Unraveler/Underworld Dreams to ping per draw + The Mending Of Dominaria to reset you before milling out)
5.C. Tokens = Aim for (again) the biggest amount of Mana possible and use it to create Tokens with Centaur Glade, Orochi Hatchery or Sandwurm Convergence. Also Dread Summons makes can create many 2/2 zombies.
5.D. Pharika's ability combined with big spells = Praetor's Counsel, Twilight's Call and Dredge The Mire are just trying to steal a game with value. Praetor's Counsel gives you many ways to end the game by basically reusing your whole graveyard. Twilight's Call brings back all creatures from each graveyard to everybodies side of the field, so it would be a shame if Pharika exiled all creatures in your opponents graveyard, while your graveyard is stacked with value. Dredge The Mire is a bit tricky, because you exile all mediocre creatures from your opponents graveyard and only leave their best one in there, so they have to choose it, when you cast this spell (but watch out for reanimation on their side!)
I made comments on some cards to help you understand the deck!
Reasonable Upgrades:
I think one the "game plan" side of things, this deck functions very well and is a lot of fun (if you like a challenging game). I mean you can always add something like Exsanguinate or Sanguine Bond / Exquisite Blood to just win, but I think in this kind of deck its just way to much and kills the complete idea behind it.
The only things I would upgrade might be things like: better ramp cards, better removal, better card draw (but don't just put every >100€ card in here. This will most likely make you the archenemy of the game)
Have fun with it!
