To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
call me a minecraft witch because Im bouta kill you with potions, bitch.
I saw Vial Smasher and just knew I had to make a deck with him, I was debating between Ludevic or Kraum but I think Kraum is going to be much more consistent with the card draw and his higher/different mana cost means I can reliably get out Vial Smasher first and then capitalize with playing my 2nd commander and dealing 5 damage.
The point of this deck is to play high cost spells that I can discount through exile or other fun methods. I also want to punish my opponent for playing big spells. It's got some control and burn and some X spells too!
Some wincons I've made sure to take note of are high mana costs to take advantage of Vial Smasher's ability, such as adding Angrath's Marauders. Not only is this card expensive to get a lot of damage out through vial smasher but it will DOUBLE the damage that vial smasher is doing, so when I cast a 6 CMC card that damage will suddenly become 12, which can really hasten the end of a game. Cards like Strionic Resonator or Helm of the Host also allow me to double vial smasher's effect. I also take advantage of Vial Smasher's ability by using cards that I can discount because the CMC will remain the same even if I'm paying less for it. Some indirect examples of this are Primal Amulet, Baral, Goblin Electromancer, which all discount instants and sorceries. More direct examples of this are Bedlam Reveler and Blasphemous Act.
I partner Vial Smasher with Kraum because I feel like the card draw makes this deck much more consistent and since they have varying mana costs I don't have to debate about who to play once I have enough mana. Kraum's effect also allows me to take advantage of some very fun effects like the Miracle on Temporal Mastery.
This deck is my cancerous magnum opus. Prepare to have your jimmies rustled.
