Revenge of the Markovs (EDH / Commander)

This is a vampire tribal deck that is very much focused on the theme of Sorin and his travels - hence Vampire legends throughout the multiverse are displayed. The deck is a combination between an aggro deck and a lifegain/aristocrat deck to give it multiple avenues for victory, even if the boardstate is not conducive for an aggro victory. It also features the infinite lifegain combo from Equisite Blood/Sanguine Bond with an extra Sanguine Bond in Vito.

The deck obviously needs more lands, and some lands could be switched out for more efficient alternatives. I don't think mana ramp is as important to the deck as a reliable curve-out to 5, but at the same time if the deck stalls on 3 or 4, that is manageable for quite some time. Thus, signets are on the chopping block, as are the more expensive and restrictive cards, such as Bolas's Citadel (which lifecost is very manageable with all the lifegain, but there are few ways to combo off with it), Butcher of Malakir, and Patron of the Vein. Ideally, Sorin's Vengeance should also be cut, but it's just too flavorful! Merciless eviction also looks like a card that we might not want to use, but it is very useable as a hoser of enchantment or artifact strategies, as both will have a very limited impact on this deck's board state. Olivia's Wrath is a much more useful one-sided hoser for us, while Olivia Voldaren, Captivating Vampire and Dark Impostor provides recurring single-target removal.

The deck would probably benefit from a few cheaper instant removals as well, such as Swords to Plowshares, Condemn, or Path to Exile as well...
