Viewing revision 1. There is a more recent version of this deck.
An versatile Omnath fun build, which goes for landfall and carddraw.
In my personal version I use all the fancy alternate artworks and foil cards, which makes it
immensely enjoyable to draw through 70% of the deck in one game.Themes
-carddraw and landfall are out main themes.
The deck is designed to go to 8 lands as fast as possible and runs a ton of lands for this.
Once we are at 8 lands, every land cantrips and every ramp spell should also be a draw spell from now on.-We always try to manipulate our topdeck to be the best possible to maximize the effect from our carddraw.
-There is an etb creature sub-theme, as well as a blue devotion sub theme which go nicely together.
-The removal is focused to deal with token heavy decks.
We run a hand full of instants to get out of sticky situations, as well as Leyline of Anticipation which works great with the deck.-Repeated land drops are another value source
Combine Trade Routes/Oboro, Palace in the Clouds with Azusa, Lost but Seeking/Exploration/etc.Gameplay
-The beginning of the game is usually ramp and Omnath on turn 3.
Continue to ramp like crazy till you hit those 8 lands, from there on you should have a pretty strong position.-Placing your +1/+1 counters on Omnath, Locus of the Roil can result in a great threat with Thassa, God of the Sea/
Illuna, Apex of Wishes.-Draw cards like crazy in the mid game, further developing your landbase and keeping answers for greater threats.
-all our removal spells are rather efficient.
Wincons
-Landfall triggers:
Avenger of Zendikar, Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Omnath, Locus of Rage can easily put you in a winning situation.
Combat damage win is supported by the +1+1 counters from Omnath, Thassa, God of the Sea,
Wonder, or cards like Maelstrom Wanderer-Card draw:
Many times you win by sheer cardadvantage, since you draw into all the answers and threads.
Also if you have The Locust God out, he will make short work of most opponents.-Combos:
Retreat to Coralhelm + Sakura-Tribe Scout + Oboro, Palace in the Clouds/Trade Routes/Simic Growth Chamber/Gruul Turf gives us infinite landfalls in a single turn.)Hope you will enjoy this deck! Let me know if you give it a try and feel free to share your oppinion.
