Emerged Gryff (Pauper)

A cheap pauper deck whose main objetives are putting as many lands onto the battlefield as possible while you are constantly manipulating your deck with the blue spells to cast your gryffs in the mid/late game, and to make use of all of your creatures habilities to take advantage on the early turns.

This is not a tier 1 list, but it can easily make a 5-0 in a tournament if you make a good use of your deck and personal skills.

The main hardests decks for this one is "stompy" and "slivers", which they can easily beat us in the early turns of the game.

This is a really funny deck which uses an archetype of control based on creatures that can trigger some effects when they hit on the board or when some of them die. You have to use your "Wretched Gryph" wisely with the "Stormbound Geist" if it is possible because of the combo effect of drawing a card while the "Stormbound Geist" comes again to the battlefield into a 3/3 creature. Otherwise you can even use your "Wretched Gryff" to sacrifice the "Mulldrifter", "Archaeomancer" or "Sea Gate Oracle" to use "Grapple with the past" to mill yourself in order to recover your creatures from the graveyard to your hand.

Easy, right? "Grapple with the past" may also take your "take inventory" to the graveyard, so you can easily draw almost 2-3 cards for 1U. Incredible! What is more, "Archaeomancer" can recover one of them to your hand from the graveyard, and again, drawing that many cards.

And what about if they are hitting you very hard? You can use your "Pulse of Murasa" to recover a creature or land from the graveyard to your hand and gain 6 life (remember the "Archaeomancer" function...).

As you see, it's not a tier list, but it's a competitive deck for those who use tier lists to play. I've achieved a 4-1 in a tournament with this deck, so I can be proud of it's creation (evil laughs).
