A mono black Pauper deck I'm trying out, mainly because I wanted to build a deck for under €5. It's reasonably competitive, but there's absolutely room for upgrades from better Sideboard options to some Dark Rituals for more explosive starts. Probably the two most surprisingly powerful cards are Vicious Offering- a 2 Mana removal spell that can pretty easily kill most of what Delver is throwing your way, and scale to beat out Gurmag Anglers in the mid-late game; and Porcelain Legionnaire, which dies to removal but is surprisingly hard to block. Foul Tongue Shriek and Gruesome Fate are also great ways to close out games fast.
