Aristocrats is one of my all-time favorite archetypes, and I can't believe it's taken me so long to try it out in Pioneer. For anyone unfamiliar, the goal of the deck is to assemble a combination of Blood Artists (in this case, Cruel Celebrant and Zulaport Cutthroat) a free sac outlet like Woe Strider or Cartel Aristocrat and a bunch of tokens or creatures that generate value when they die, then try to drain our opponents out of the game. The lynchpin of the deck is Rally the Ancestors, which lets us sac out our board, then reanimate everything at instant speed to run it back. Erebos, Bleak-Hearted is also a nice way to generate mid-late game card advantage in the absence of Yawgmoth, and provides us with cantripping Disfigures in a pinch.

Sideboard-wise, we're trying to be as catch-all as possible. We have Pithing Needle as general planeswalker hate, Remorseful Cleric for graveyards, and Settle the Wreckage, Devout Decree and Noxious Grasp to customize our removal. Control-wise, we have Agonizing Remorse for a budget Thoughtseize/more graveyard hate, and Elspeth and Gideon as resilient threats. God's is also a great counter to Oracle combo.

The deck definitely has some sticking points- we really miss having access to a 1 Mana sac outlet like Viscera Seer or Carrion Feeder, and while Woe Strider's recursion is great, it does sometimes interfere with the Rally plan. But it feels really solid and synergistic in practice, and the slightly slower pace of the format makes the combo kill feel pretty consistent. Plus, the whole deck cones to about a hundred quid in paper, so it's not completely breaking the bank.

I've included a couple of potential cards to consider in a maybeboard, but obviously any and all suggestions are much appreciated!
