This deck is the twisted fusion of two of Magic's most manic yet masterful, random yet rewarding, and wild yet wieldy mechanics, Storm and Cascade. Yidris, grants his user one of Commander's most coveted and notorious abilities, Cascade. Cascade, for those who don't already shudder at its mention, provides extra value by allowing one to rip cards off the top of their deck until they come across something with inferior cost and allows one to cast it for free. An easily exploitable mechanic for sure. However, the fun doesn't stop there. Among the most feared mechanics of all time, one which the creators of the game themselves disavow, Storm has joined the fun. Storm, much like Cascade, grants one extra value as a cast-trigger, but instead of casting other spells for free, it casts the cast one extra times for free, the number of copies of which are dependent on how many spells the caster has cast before it. Confusing, I know, but luckily for you, viewer, very few spells in this deck actually have this very special ability. The Storm mindset and spell-slinger archetype are more of what I mean. Cards like "Thousand-Year Storm" and "Swarm Intelligence" are cards which can reliably copy instant and sorcery spells (which are the focus of the deck) to help you win. This deck is not meant to duke it out with your opponents in combat, so look to my Marisi, Breaker of the Coil deck for that. No, this deck likes to cast and copy instants and sorceries like nobody's business, all the while zipping through the deck to cast extra instant and sorceries for free with Cascade. Win conditions for this deck are pretty simple. You pretty much cast a booty-load of instants and sorceries from your hand, library, and/or graveyard, order them so that you get to copy the damage spells an insane number of times, and cause your opponents to capitulate or wait two hours for your endless turn to end so that you can finally deal enough damage to their stubborn butt so that they do finally die. Just a warning, this deck has a pretty high salt content, so if your regular group of Commander buddies are sensitive to assholes who play these kinds of decks, don't.
