It's a very straightforward deck regarding tactics: gain life, chuck it.

Cards like Soul's Attendant and Soul Warden are great in groups due to the multiplayer life gain, but every instance that can be put out contributes to the endgame.

Try and draw as many card draws, instants, etc at the beginning, don't go for big bombs or only keep one in hand. You need the mana and you can sit and wait due to Oloro. It should be noted, I use him in the command zone 90% of the time unless I cannot get a different card draw. His draw isn't as effective and his cost is too high to pull out.

Do NOT use Marina Vendrell's Grimoire early on. It translates to cards in hand = your life total. So if you have 12 cards in hand, which is a lot for a hand, it is still a lot less than your starting 40 health. And without any blockers or ways to gain life constantly, you'll lose those cards fast. It's better for late game when you're built up and have consistent life gain. It pairs well with Ivory Tower and Venser's Journal

Drogskol Reaver is amazing due to its draw effect, Well of Lost Dreams and Dawn of Hope are lesser versions of it. The other draws use your life as a resource, so be careful with them if you're low.

Bombs like Revenge can be game-winning, especially 1v1. Pair it with any lifegain chucking spell and it's a win. Spells like Sanguine Bond, Defiant Bloodlord, Enduring Tenacity, and Sorin of House Markov. These, along with Marauding Blight-Priest, Clffhaven Vampire, and Starscape Cleric, will trigger an infinite loop with Bloodthirsty Conqueror. I try not to use these often, it's not as fun of a win.

My favourite wins are using Ajani's Pridemate, Voice of the Blessed, or Bloodthirsty Aerialist to build up into a big beasty, like 10/10 or 20/20 and then using Wall of Reverence to proc Sanguine Bond and co. Or give them Loxodon Warhammer similarly for trample damage + lifegain chuck. You can also just give them Whispersilk to outright kill your opponent.

Another favourite win is Putting out Sorin of House Markov as a creature, then next turn casting revenge to double your health, halving your opponent's life, transforming him, and then finally using his -1 to kill the opponent. This works well in 1v1s.

Crested Sunmare is a great addition especially when Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant is out because you have the chance of gaining horses on other people's turns.

Serra Avatar and Loxodon Lifechanter act as big beasties from you gaining life every turn, Aetherflux works the same way just as damage to a face. Pair it with Bloodthirsty Conqueror and you can hit everyone without actually losing the life.

Soul link is also great fun to throw on someone else's creature as a sort of neutralize them to attack you, or they hit or block someone else and you gain life, which can cause lots of damage depending on the other cards you have out.

Notable additions can be found in my wishlist decklist. Some of which are: Queza, Augur of Agonies (infinite combo with Drogskol Reaver), Nykthos Paragon, Will, Scion of Peace, Exemplar of Light, Mindcrank for salt, Phenax, God of Deception (when paired with Loxodon Lifechanter or Serra Avatar, you can mill most of their deck, if not all), Sunscorch Regent, Archangel of Thune and a ton of others.
