Viewing revision 56. There is a more recent version of this deck.
My Najeela deck, a more casual, slightly watered down version of the popular Warrior Queen cEDH Najeela build developed by Pongo. This deck leans more toward Tempo as opposed to midrange, and is packed to the gills with interaction. Aims to control the pace of opponents while trying to run over the board with tokens. I avoided the popular 5C win combos with things like Tainted Pact, Demonic Consultation and Thassa's Oracle because I think they're boring. All of Najeela's combat-focused game winner combos are in the deck though, including Cryptolith Rite, Druids' Repository, and Derevi, Empyrial Tactician. This deck prefers to do most of its work in the combat step, but can be made more for the midrange game by swapping out warrior creatures for some extra tutors, counters, etc. This deck wants to win via overwhelming aggro and extra combats, but a slightly faster win can be found with Purphoros, God of the Forge triggers. If you're building this deck or one like it, be aware that you're committing to a pretty commander-centric strategy in a deck that typically will set you up for a 3v1 on the basis of Najeela alone. Left by itself, this deck will typically pull off a turn 3 or 4 win pretty reliably, or if it's later you'll have the game so well in hand that any further turns are formality. There are a number of starting hands and draws that can get you there faster as well. To turn the throttle up higher, you'll need to add more draw elements. My draw package is not fully optimized and additions there should include Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Thrill of Possibility and potentially Dark Confidant.
Latest update: Removed Neyith of the Dire Hunt and added Dark Confidant
