The wheel in the hand keeps on turning: Yidris Wheel (EDH / Commander)

This deck aims to be a less oppressive, more interactive version of many popular discard and draw-based decks commanded typically by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The addition of green is huge in constructing a robust ramp package and also allows for some great selection and recursion effects in Sylvan Library and Praetor's Counsel, which means this deck gets up and gets moving in a hurry. There's a healthy mix of both wheel and draw spells, which can be combined to deadly effect with any of the many burn spells which punish opponents both when cards are drawn or discarded. There's not much focus on drawing out the deck as in some wheel builds due to the presence of cards like Kess, Dissident Mage and some sorceries (some of which provide wheel AND recursion in one) to allow the graveyard to be returned to the library so the chaos can start all over again. This deck also includes a few classic Yidris elements to cast more spells and get attacks in more easily for ability triggers, but the deck runs just fine without Yidris on the field as well. Current considerations for addition are Consuming Aberration to provide mill on top of the discard from wheels, and possibly a few more burn and draw spells to create even more chaos. This deck was designed to run without Yidris in play because he gets hated off fairly quickly in my experience, but having him on field certainly doesn't hurt. In the spirit of true chaos, almost everything is "heart of the cards", so minimal tutors or even rummage capability is available. Just keep spinning that wheel and hope for the best.
